One useful feature of RE Queries is the ability to search for constituents using two or more Constituent Codes. Follow the steps below to learn how to do this.
Open the Query section of RE and start a new query as normal. For instructions on how to create a query, see here.
In the Criteria tab, choose Constituency from the Available Fields menu.
Then, double click on Constituency Code.
Change the Operator to one of, and then choose as many Constituent Codes as you wish to search for, and add these to the right hand table.
If you want to view Constituents with multiple codes, you must tick the box at the bottom labelled Each record must meet all specified criteria. Otherwise, you will get constituents who have either of these, but not necessarily both, in your results.
E.g. if you wish to find constituents who have donated to the University at any point and who are also contactable by email, you would choose both Donor – Ever and Contactable – Email.
