Aliases

Aliases and nicknames allow you to store alternate name or ID references for constituents. These can make finding constituents easier and reduce the chance of adding duplicate records.

Step 1

You can find the Aliases button beside the constituent’s Surname in Bio 1.

Step 2

After clicking on Aliases, you first should choose a Type from the drop down menu on the right. Then type the relevant alias into the box on the left. E.g. Select Maiden Name from the Type menu and then type the maiden name into the box on the left.

Step 3

You can add multiple aliases if necessary. Just move to the next line down and again select your Type and enter it in the Alias box.

Step 4

When you’re happy with the aliases you have created, click OK and then Save and Close to exit the record.
